Boerne Dodge (Texas) has three QCs on the lot, all of them are 5 speeds with
4.7L V8s. Unfortunately, I needed an auto, which is "variable speed"
whatever that means...

Since were talking trannys, hows the new Quad Cab Dakota
automatic doing? Didn't I just read in Sport truck it had
new dual ratio(?) gearing or something? I'd love to have the
Quad Cab but only if the auto tranny is a big cut above the
older gear hunters. I guess the QC is not available with the
5 speed even with the 4.7L :o(
