Don't know what kind of truck you have Derek, but the front wheels on my 4x4
always have some grease on 'em. For me it's 'cause of the ball joints that
aren't sealed like on the 4x2's... I need to grease them every so often and
that's when I'll get a little goo on the wheels. If yours is a 4x2 then I don't
think you should be getting grease on the wheels.

hey everyone
cleaned my dak about a week ago, wash no wax, and gave the rims a good going
over as they wer covered(in the front) with some sort of dark brown goo. a
real pain to get it off. now a week later the passenger side has got some
of the goo on it but the drivers side is just coated in it. its really
sticky, like bearing grease, is that what it is? and if so is it a warranty
thing or maintenance thing? never happened last year or the year before that
at this time of year.
thanks in advance
derek
