Damn, I guess it just depends on where you live. I live in western NC and
had many different vehicles inspected. Never once have they even opened the
hood. Of course where I normally go all I do is give them the make, model,
vin, and mileage and they give me the sticker (they never put it on
straight). But even when I don't go there they make me toot the horn and
check the signals and that is it.
