Geez, what you describe sounds incredibly similar to mine. The cure for mine
was replacing the intermediate shaft (the piece that connects the steering
column to the steering gear) in the steering linkage. It sounds like the same
part/TSB that you mention above but I just wanted to make sure.
Other than that I haven't had any other problems so hopefully someone else can
help.
