Alan, I've had the spacer w/helix now for about a year. Its
aluminum, 1" thick and fits under the hood well (w/o insulation).
I was told to expect about 11-14 hp on the 5.2L. NOT SO. However,
the truck has run a little better ever since and I don't care to
take it off. Not sure about the HP gains but I'm sure its real low.
(guessing 1-3hp). I noticed one advertiser in Sport truck magazine
(I think) was boasting 15hp for Chevys. Sounds like another
"splitfire" boast *lawsuit* to me.
