I guess we have a Chemistry major here. Wrong! Sorry! With that logic, the
87 Octane would leave more deposit than 89, and 89 Octane would leave more
deposits than 93.

Your "cleaner" fuel is probably leaving lots of nice deposits in the
combustion chamber. If you want cleaner fuel, spend the money on one of
those newfangled fuel filters.
