The Winston Cup cars are limited to 358 cu. in. displacement. MoPar's
engine of choice for the circle track (since the big-blocks were outlawed)
is a 355 cu. in. version of their small block. This engine has TONS of
circle-track engineering and experience behind it. It will be interesting
to see if DC uses this tried-and-proven engine, or if they will use the
newer 5.7L Hemi in an effort to market the new engine.....
