Not too sure about a rental place, as Glamis is nothing more than
a riding area w/sand dunes & a general store. There might be a company
that brings ATVs out there for rental, but I doubt it. Bring the 4x4!
You'll be able to cruise around some of the dunes, plus there's air at
the general store to air up your tires later.

I've only been out to the semi-local dunes/sand of Ocotillo Wells,
and our 4x4 Sport CC Dakota did great. The Durangos actually did
better than our Dakota in some sections of sand (the bed of the Dakota
is too light unloaded).

Give me a heads up when you plan on going, I might take a drive out there.
