No. my 97 dakota never did that at 36k, and I just passed 70k. nothing in
the manual about it.

I have a 1997 CC 5.2 Dakota. It just hit the 36,000 mile mark and today
at
36,002 mile the "Check Engine" light came on. I have checked all the fluids
and all is well. I cannot find my manual to verify if this could be just a
"reminder" to get service.
Will some one check there manual and let me know?
