RE: R & D PERFORMANCE RIPOFF

For a BBB complaint, the info must be "first hand" (i.e. "this happened to
me", not "this happened to my good buddy on DML", or "I heard of someone on
DML getting screwed"). 3rd party letters just get filed in the circular
filing system beside the desk (a.k.a. garbage can).

Better Buisiness isn't state... so it would be better to contact them. I'll
bet that other people have already done the same. Just write your local
chapter a letter, include as much correspondence as you can... and leave it
at that. I'm sure that if we went as a group... it would be more "visible"
to the BBB than individuals writing... however.. .sometimes more letters can
be just as noticeable.

Done this.. and many other things to a guy that repaired my 1992 Escort
previously. Basically I wrote and sent the same kind of thing to everyone
that he had a plaque or certificate on the wall for... just to make sure
everyone knew what kind of shotty work he had done, and the outrageous price
he charged for generic parts. THe excess time it took.. etc.
