Unfortunately no... I was just re-tagging my '98 with the 2K words... Sorry
for the confusion.

>From what the 2K Kota DML'ers are saying this is what their shifter bezels and
sequence looks like this:

Part-Time System Full-Time System
--->4wd low --->4wd low locked (A.K.A. part-time Low)
--->N --->N
--->2wd --->4wd (full-time 4wd)
--->4wd Hi --->4wd Hi locked (A.K.A. part-time Hi)

Notice on the full-time system there is no 2wd mode, hence, these vehicles
always have 4wd engaged.

<<OK, since I asked the original question, let me see if I have this straight.

My 98 part-time transfer case is as follows: (I know this because I just
looked at it)

---> 2wd
---> 4wd High
---> Neutral
---> 4wd Low

The new high tech transfer case with the 4.6L and optional auto trans looks
like this:>>

Nope. This is what my '98 looks like as I have the full-time (NV 242) case. I
just re-labeled it with the 2K words as I said above.

Also, there is nothing new or high tech about the 2K transfer cases. To my
knowledge (and in Dodges literature) they are using the same cases they used in
'98 on the Kota line. They simply eliminated the 2wd mode and changed the shift
sequence around a little bit. There is no substantial change in the T-Case.
