Scott,
You're probably on a very slight grade and don't notice it.

Subject: DML: Neutral or Reverse?

Ok, it's time once again for me to lean on the infinite wisdom of the
members
of the DML. :)

So I install my new F&B TB. I'm sitting in the driveway with the engine
still
running after a quick test drive around the block. While in neutral (parked
on a flat surface) the truck slowly creeps backward when I rev the engine.
When I let off the gas, it stops. My foot wasn't on the brake at all, just
sitting there in neutral, it shouldn't be moving at all(?) I checked it
several times, and it's acting almost as if it's *a little bit* in reverse.
Does that make sense? Maybe it's been this way and I never noticed before,
but I'm wondering if there's anything I could've done with the trans linkage

that might've caused it. Has anyone ever heard of, or experinced this? I've
got 113,000+ miles on this eng+trans, maybe something is out of adjustment?

On a semi related subject, this trans linkage adjustment for firmer shifts
that seems to be so popular doesn't appear to be applicable to my '94 5.2.
Is
the linkage different on the later models?

Thanks in advance

Scott
