Which gears for my 00 Dakota 4.7L 4x4? 3.55 or 3.92?!!!

I just ordered a 2000 Dodge Dakota regular cab sport, 4x4 with 4.7L v8
and manual transmission. I also got the tire and handling package with
the 31x10.5 tires. Nobody can seem to give me a straight answer around
here so I am asking you all. Which gears should I go with? The 3.55 or
the 3.92 gears? I probably won't be hauling anything with this truck
but I do want a 4x4 that is as fast as I can get it to be. Will the
3.55 gears make it more sluggish? Will the 3.92 gears cause it to have
a lot higher RPM on the highway at cruising speeds? I know that the
3.55 gears allow better gas mileage, but just how much better? I prefer
a better performing truck than a more economic truck. Please let me
know what you guys think about the situation and give me your oppinions
on which will be the best setup. Thanks :) You can email me at
