yes, I use a good SHARP gasket scraper... a razor blade holder is excellent
here... then I hose all the gears and everything down with brake cleaner...
watch out tho, being underneath the truck w/o much air circulation makes for
some nasty smells, and that brake cleaner will give you a MEAN hangover
