FWIW, my Y2K Dak, 4 weeks old today, has already lost the door seal on
the bottom of the driver's door. The dealership is suppose to put a new
one on this Wednesday. It appears the seal is only held on with
adhesive, and not a very strong adhesive at that. No mechanical
attachment at all. Moral, check to see if maybe one of your door seals
has fallen off.
