Re: Neutral or Reverse?

I have noticed this effect in a few auto tranny cars before, most notably
my father's 88 camry. when I would pull up behind a friend, throw it into
neutral and rev the engine to scare them (lots of fun :-) ), it would
accelerate very slightly. I attributed it to the tranny fluid being
agitated by the input shaft (correct part?), and causing a very small
amount of drive on the tranny. Again, this is only a guess, and I am NOT
a mechanic.
