Don't know what year your Dak is, but mine is a '97 Dakota 2WD that's had
some extensive suspension modifications done to it.

with 30x9.5 tires - No Problem
with 31x10.5 tires - Required 2" Body Lift or a lot of wheel-well trimming
(opted for the Body lift)
with 32x11.5 tires - Fabtech 3" Suspension Lift and 2" Body Lift and minor
wheel-well trimming
with 33x12.5 tires - (Same as 32" but 3" Body Lift)

As for handling, don't expect it to be a "Sports Truck". Get the Helwig
Rear Sway Bar and replace the front swaybar bushings with a Poly-Urethane
set (mine is 28mm on the stock front swaybar - check it first). Also,
change the shocks to something like ProComp ES9000's. Working with someone
on the DML right now for the R/T bars...maybe they'll work.

As for the ProComp shocks, they run about $30 per shock and give it a nice
firm ride with very quick response on potholes, dips, and curves. (I've
tested the Edelbrock, Rancho RS5000, ProComp shocks...stick with the
ProComp.) If you decide to go with a Fabtech Kit, you'll need to install
rear shocks that allow for a 2"-3" suspension lift (stock shocks will fit
but will be fully extended most of the time - not good).

Hope that helps...

- Bernd

Does anyone have any experience with this combo? Handling, any wheel well
rubbing?
