I was pretty sure I would not have been able to keep up with the car. You
are correct however. The best car could still lose because of a lousy
driver. It was just fun to see his surprise as he was try to be all cocky
and stuff.

It was the driver not the car. The Cobra is very fast car designed by Ford
Racing Group. Capable of doing 165MPH but limited to 148MPH. Depending on
his stance (height to ground) he would dusted you after 100mph (considering
his six speed Tranny).

I raced a 99 or 00 cobra the other day. Well sorta. We were on the freeway
and he was puttin in the fast lane, so I creeped up on him to let him know I
wanted by, and he decided to punch it. Well I punched it too. He did not
gain much on me. The look in his eye through his rearview mirror was great.
It was like "Whoah, he is still there" HAHA. Not sure bout the older 5.0s
Heard they were way better than the new engines.
