Need to see the specs Lynn. Bad example from the wanna-be magazine is the
hype on Honda, Acura, etc.. Look at the times then look at the rear end
gear, the Tranny gear etc. You see the 4:40 rear, tall first gear etc..
The lightning is using a mild highway gear (3:50 area). Now let us put in a
4:10, 4:40, or 4:75 ratio and see the difference. Change the Tranny for a
TREMAC 6 speed and see the difference.

Another is the drivers experience with that product, track conditions, and
weather during the test. Other factor or variable to account for. Another
is the rear wheel spin. Was that with the stock tires that are supplied by
SVT group or drag tires? If you see the lightning, the tire spin through
first and that is lost traction - meaning time lost.

BLUE OVAL NEWS says a 1999 Lightning will turn 14.6 with a 360 HP Engine
&
                    a 2001 Lightning will turn 13.9 with a 375 HP
Engine,
Where can we buy 15 HP that will give us 6/10s in the 1/4 mile. Not from
MA MOPAR. What are we missing here????????
