Given the same combustion chamber, runners, etc. The iron head will produce more
power everytime BECAUSE it retains heat and thus raises peak cylinder pressure.
However, I'm sure that the aftermarket heads will flow better than stockers and
produce more power.
What you said about the compression is true. There's even more power to be had by
bumping up the c.r.
