The sensor I got has a little copper tube that goes INSIDE the upper radiator
hose.. I took the clamp off, put the thermostat in, put a lil blue RTV
sealant around the clamp area and no leaks to date (or blue dabs of RTV in
the coolant either!)

<< Well, I went and bought a Perma-Cool 18" fan, and a 170º fixed
thermo-switch. The instructions show the sensor banded against the radiator
hose. Has anyone attached the sensor in this fashion? Just wondering if
they work sufficientlyor not. Wanted to get the Hayden sensor since someone
mentioned they liked it so well, but this was the only one Summit carried.
