I can tell you guys for a fact that my 99 does not have the smart key
system. I have had two copes made, including a plastic one for the wallet.
They all start the truck, and run it with no problems...
Recenlty I had remote start installed. I was there when they installed it,
and asked about the smartkey systems. He told me they are a pain in the
ass to do, but had never seen a chrysler with one. My remote start works
great also..
