What kind of pinging did he have? Constant? My 98 4x4 auto pings after
4000rpm.
When my truck is running cool, just barely in the safe range on the temp
gauge;I don't hear pinging. Maybe thats because the engine is louder at that
temp. Im doing my ignition soon. Magnecors, and Auto lites plugs, and cap
and rotor. Im gonna follow the TSB re-routing procedure. If it still pings
im bringing it in.
