Speaking of that this is what happend this weekend.
Seriously stuck Chevy 4x4 full size. 38s and you couldnt really see them
they were uder the mud. So i ask the dude if he had to w hooks and he said (
I kid you not ) well i wasnt gonna get stuck so i took them off. ( OK) so now
we find a hole in the frame and hook up a shackle and my tow straps. ( this
dude didnt even bring Any straps or recovery gear with him) so a chevy pick
up lines up and gets hooked up. gets a running start and SLAM the rope flies
off. I thought the tow strap broke but not a chance.
IT RIPPED THE SHACKLE THROUGH THE FRAME THE TOW STRAPS WERE DIRTY FROM THE
MUD BUT THAT WAS ALL.
Now before i hear Well yeah it was a chevy frame and they re weak it also
did it to a Jeep wrangler and a Dodge ram. At the 4x spot theire calling the
straps frmae breakers. Oh yeah the chevy got out o9n a sideways pull that
rearranged his hitch about 4 inches to the passanger side
