Do you guys with 4.7's and a 5-speed have a shift indicator light in the
tach? I have a 2000 4.7 manual tranny and the shift light doesn't come on
like it did on the I4 and V6 I test drove. I don't really care (I don't
need no fancy light tellin' me when to shift:), but I was wondering if
there's some kind of problem. The manual says some vehicles aren't equipped
with shift lights but doesn't say why. Maybe I don't have one, or maybe the
bulb's was bad from the factory?
