The best mileage I have seen to date in my Dak is 19.1 between Albuquerque
and Durango. That was traveling at @75mph. Granted I had one hell of a tail
wind, but...... I usually get @17mpg on the highway doing @70mph.

'99 4x4 w/ Auto and a 318, and that was when I had about 700 miles on it
and made a one-day 280 mile run, all highway at 70+.
