Best & safest way is to use dental floss ( yes, dental floss!) to "saw"
through the adhesive to remove the visor. Then liberally soak the remaining
goo with WD40 and peel off with your finger. It's messy but it won't leave a
scratch on your paint.
Afterwards, a good coat of wax to restore the shine, and you're done.
