Yep, basically there's a motor in the engine bay with a throttle cable
hooked to it. It works exactly the same as if you press on the pedal. It
pulls on the cable which opens up the butterfly valves on the TB. That's
why you can feel the pedal going up and down.
Speaking of which, does anyone know if the 4.7 has a "fly by
wire" throttle?
