I have one on my V6. I would definately recommend getting one. It is worth
the money. 9 out of 10 trannies fail due to overheating (and this is a
national average in all vehicles). It was easy to install. They aren't made
for any specific vehicle though. They are only rated on what they can handle.
In fact they are rated on what a vehicle can tow with that particular cooler,
but they aren't jjust for towers or racers. Mine is a daily driver and I put
it on to save myself money if the tranny ever decided to get a little warm.
So I would say go for it and throw one on your truck! With over 100,000 miles
I recommend changing your fluid and adding the cooler. Hope this helps.
