You would definitely see improvement if you had the luxury of a track and
some nice warm tires on nice warm pavement.. Your main issue is the
exhaust and traction.
Also, don't use OD!! that last shift will cost you a couple tenths
So shifting later didn't help? hhhmmmm... odd.. I don't know what RPM I
shifted mine at on my 17.6 run, but I do know that I still coulda'
shifted later... I think my truck is capable of 17.4 if I nail the shift
points.
Your trap speeds are pretty high! You definitely have a 17 second
truck... it's most likely traction...
