I've heard this thread go round and round and
meant to jump in before.

Robert, I don't know if I can help here but I'll
try. Many cars and trucks have a pickup coil and
electronic pc board inside the distributor cap
called an ignitor circuit. I'm not familiar with
the '95 model but if it has one of these circuits
theres a chance its causing the problem. I
believe Mike d. called it a *pickup plate*. Hope
we are talking about the same thing...anyway I
have replaced many of these in other vehicles, but
never replaced one in a Dodge. Some of the boards
will unplug from the distributor without too much
hassle, some are pretty difficult. If you can remove
this circuit there are a few autoparts stores who
can check them. Autozone is one. I've done it several
times. The symptoms are very similar, no spark. If you
have an FSM it should tell you if you have one of these
pickup circuits.
