Subject: DML: Cracking rc5 - DML team

If there is anyone interested in joining the effort to crack
rc5, I have recently created a DML team. Whoever finds the winning
key will receive $1,000, and if a member of the DML team finds it,
the DML would also receive $1,000. This is sort've like the SETI at
home deal, but this one you could get paid for. ;-) Plus, its just
plain cool. :-)

There is some info about rc5 at: http://www.distributed.net/rc5

If you'd like to join up with the DML team, here's the relavant
info (copied from a post on the DML off topic list):

You can download the software for just about any OS you can think of at:

http://www.distributed.net/download/clients.html

Once you download the client, you'll need to install it and set the
options to be however you like. One very important option is your
e-mail address. Make sure you put that in there so you can be
credited with the blocks you do. (The default e-mail address is
rc5@distributed.net, I believe; just replace that with your address.)

Then, once you've been working for over a day, head on over to:

http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64

Enter your e-mail address in the search box under "participant
stats", and you should show up. If you click on your name, you
should get your personal stats. Down at the bottom is a link
that you can click on to receive your password. (I'm not sure
if a password gets e-mailed to you before then or not, but if
you don't have your password by that time, that's how you can
get it.)

Anyway, once you're listed on the stats server, you can
search for the DML like you searched for yourself, by typing
"DML" in the team search box. Or you can use this direct
link:

http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/tmsummary.php3?team=10018716

Down at the bottom of that page is a link that says "I want to
join this team!". If you click on that, it'll ask for a username
and a password. Your username is your e-mail address, and your
password is... your password. :-)

Once you join, it'll take a day before you're listed as a team
member. (The delays are because the stats are updated only once per
day.)
