over revving a stock 318 yes, but not a slightly modified one. I doubt yours
pulls as high as mine. But on a stock 318 yes, I'm not picking on you
personally, it's just that I'm sick of seeing all these freaking
manufacturers throwing away great motors that need a few improvements to go
with these ohc engines. The mustangs of the 80's were bad cars at the time
till ford dropped in a 4.6, now a stock Dakota will run side by side with
it. Chevy at least still puts a 350 in their sports cars and they outrun
anything stock on the road (in their price range). I drove a new chevy
pickup with that dang ohc motor in it the other day and it's pitiful
compared to the 350. And if dodge ever messes with the viper motor I think
I'm gonna stop buying cars.
