I've had this strange squeaking noise coming from under my dak for a few
months so I finally took it into the dealer to have it checked out.
Long/short of it is the front drive shaft was going bad (45K miles). Low
and behold, they had one in stock and 20 minutes later I was on the road
again, squeak free. Would've cost me $506, but a $50 deductable and I was
out the door. The tech also said I had a leaking fuel injector and to come
back when I hit about 70K and he'd replace ALL of them for me under warranty
too! That and the drive shaft more than makes up for the $1200 I paid for
the extended warranty. Carlin Dodge in Colorado Springs was the
dealer...great service!
