I used the NX kit and Terry still honored the old "group buy" basic kit
price of 479.00.
I upgraded to the Gen X kit and purge valve, it also has a bottle heater
and a low fuel pressure cutoff(set at 40lbs and adjustable). Also went
for the 15lb bottle upgrade.
I've got about 900.00 in it and it took about 20 hours to install.
I hid everything and soldered EVERY connector and splice, so I took a
lot of extra time.
I used to think nitrous was scary too, but used right it's safe.
I don't know of any blown head gaskets from it and it will outrun most
any s/c. Keep it within sane limits, 150 and under.
People who have something negative to say about nitrous, probably never
used it or at least hasn't used NX a (wet system) on a computer
controlled vehicle.
All together I gained a solid second and 7 mph from a 100 shot and I
even let off a little on the 3-4 shift.
Do it, don't be skeered!
