I'm already committed to the team I started at college, but I'd like to
suggest that rather than RC5-64, the DML team work on d.net's OGR-24
project which is starting today (see links on d.net's website). Optimal
Golumb Rulers have practical uses in science and astronomy; cracking RC5
is fun, and there's money in it, but I've been cracking over 2 years now
and we're still a LONG ways from done.

I also found out about another distributed project to calculate Gamma
Flux; this data will be used to figure out how to best design nuclear
waste storage facilities. I'm going to split my time 50/50 between
d.net and Gamma Flux; if anyone's interested in the latter I'll post the
URL.
