Stock idle quality and high end power are two that really don't go
together. What's your max RPM you want to run? What RPM range do you want
your power in? The cam you listed looks like an RV type cam. Lots of low
end torque and not much on top. That would be an good choice for a daily
driver. It will give you a good idle quality, slightly rougher than stock,
but not real noticeable. I mean real slight difference than stock. 109
centerline with that little overlap shouldn't bother the O2
sensors. Usually when you get up in overlap and have a low centerline, it
confuses the computer. Most computer cams have a high centerline in the
112-116 range.

If you still have the stock exhaust manifolds on and stock exhaust, I'd
find a cam with a slightly longer exhaust duration, about 270. That will
give a little more low end torque.

That cam would be a good daily driver cam for a 318. Would be a good cam
for a truck that tows. Would also be good to do stop light drag racing.
