Well, I went to Wal-mart to pick up a poster board so i can put my project on
it, and on the way home, there's this Nissan 240sx FLYING by me probably
doing 80 in a 45. (i was good, only went 45)
Anyways, we get a red light and i have my windows slightly down and I try to
hear if he wants to go at it. so i just accelerate off the line regularly
(2500 RPM shift) and i didn't hear his engine kick in for about a second,
then I heard a low K&N air sucking sound 4 cylinders make and i finally gun
it and I downshift back to 1st.
Anyways. i should have just gunned it from the light because I lost pretty
bad. IT was a 240sx and he was power shifting pretty bad... i didn't even
hear him let off the gas to shift. I guess he just pressed in the gas and
dumped the clutch. On the side of the window. I saw a sticker that said
"jackson superchargers" then a couple other stickers.
anyways. got up to about 45 for me and he just started gaining more and more.
I don't think i would have been able to beat him even if I did kill him off
the line. how fast are the 240SXs? i know for sure this one had some mods,
because a stock engine doesn't sound like that!
