Well Jack I tried to join back when it was forming up, and the initial folks
posted messages here saying "hey all R/T owners there is a new list". When I
tried to join, the message was "sure, whats your VIN", followed by "non-R/T
owners not allowed" (have to be in the registry to be on the list blah,
blah, blah). That was prob. almost 2 years ago (right after the first '98
R/Ts started showing up at dealers), well before the towing stink.
Anyway, the current config works for the R/T guys, and more power to them.
Just don't try and pass it off as "big bad DC made us do it" 'cause it ain't
so from my experience. YMMV...

My R/T was registered as member #2 and I remember when it was not closed
and the problems with DC reading posts and then everyone of us getting
these strange calls asking if we knew anything about an Internet R/T club.
