You must have a 4x4... Before they went to rack & pinion steering for the
4x4's (2K models, I think) we got zirks galore on all our ball joints and
steering components... The 4x2's on the other hand always got stuck with the
"sealed for life" ball joints... The poor bastards. ;-)

I just went and checked again just to be sure...imaging you're looking down on
top of the lower a-arm at the lower ball joint, 12 o'clock being straight
forward. At about the 1 o'clock position, there's a zerk sticking out of the
a-arm.
