Most of the dealer are not dealing less than MSRP for the R/T. 36 and
change (fully loaded). They figured they can sell them. However, check out
Kenne Bell, www.PegasusCustom.Com, or Hennessey Motors. They are a lot more
have modified the Durango model.

Subject: DML: Performace Mods for '00 Durango 5.9L Suggestions

I just ordered a 2000 Durango 4x4 SLT Plus with:
5.9L
3.92 axle ratio
limited slip diff. I did not get the full time transfer case.
31"x10.5" tires

I wanted to buy the new R/T but they wouldn't give me a discount so I tried
to get a similar set up with the SLT+. I'm looking at adding some
performance mods and would like some suggestions, since the Dakota truck is
where the Durango was born. I don't want to go "inside" the engine and void
my warranty, I'll save that for after the warranty expires. My friend
drives a stock F-150 Lightning and I would love to smoke him, so that means
running in the mid to upper 13's.

So far this is what I was thinking:
Vortech S-trim 8psi supercharger kit w/ k&n
Mopar headers
Mopar exhaust
(possibly a custom ram air setup that would route cold air to the s/c)
(custom computer chip to work with all of above)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
