| Try else where. If they modified the 4.7 into a 5.4L then there has to
be
| someone done it.
Venolia or JE will custom make them for not much more than their already
outrageous prices. I prefer Venolia, but JE and Ross have served friends
well.
What I really wonder is any builder has started playing around with the
cylinder heads. With no push rods to worry about, I wonder how much room
there is to play with ports.
I haven't seen the combustion chamber design. I'm wondering how large of
valves you can fit without serious shrouding. Bumping up to a 1.92 intake
and 1.60 exhaust with a more aggressive cam and a little porting would be
interesting. Add headers, and hipo exhaust, bigger TB, and free flow
intake, and the 4.7L ought to be a real performance engine.
Same mods and an SC or NO2....hmmmmm!
