Well.. that's the way the truck came from the factory. I would imagine
that the computer is setup for it OEM, and so are the emissions
stuff. I've known people to run 24# on 5.2Ls and '97-99 5.9Ls
that noticed worse gas mileage, and noticable lag off the line...
Also 24# inj. are recommended if you are going to a SC...
Not sure the other benefits, but I am planning on running NX, and
the extra fuel potential is needed for me.
