It's a tube that connects to the vent cap on the valve of the bottle and
vents the Nitrous gas outside the vehicle. It's required by NHRA
regulations and most tracks require it even if they don't comply to the NHRA
regulations (local small tracks). This way, if the bottle ever reaches an
unsafe pressure, the Nitrous will be vented to the outside of the vehicle
rather than in the cab...hopefully preventing a possible bottle explosion
and/or the Nitrous gas suffocating you inside the cab.
