TB Questions, and some thoughts....sorry, I love to type

I already have a 4.7 TB done. I am holding back on production of them because I
want to have it on a truck for a while.........to test it, and to dyno it.
I also have one of the intake kits done for it.........I am meeting with the
bender in the morning.

I would strongly suggest that if anyone was going to try to do it
themselves......to wait. Lots of 4.7 people have been having issues with their
engines. They have been stalling out......on the jeeps, durangos and in the
Daks. We all know our wonderful service advisors.......giving them one reason
to deny a claim is enough.
I would love to start selling the TBs........but before I shell out a couple
thousand for cores.......I want to make sure we are getting sufficient gains.

The 4.7 is a really nice looking TB. Its a single bore.......the shaft
replacement is the biggest improvement. The bore is not that bad.......and
there is not much room to open it up. The idle air is not at the back on the
4.7....its on the side. We basically opened up the bore just enought to clean
up the finish, and to remove the lip and radiused the edges., then we replaced
the shaft and installed the new blade.
I sent out pics to all the people that had showed interest in the intake
kits.......I am hoping to start taking orders by wednesday.....I have tons of
emails, that I havent responed to yet......I am waiting til after the meeting
tomarrow. Then I will email everyone back about the 4.7 intake tomarrow night.

Oh, does anyone know Jules email address......I recieved an email from someone
requesting some of TB blades and shafts.......and it was signed jules from
magnum perf. I was just wondering if it was really him.
I read the posts earlier.........and no matter how we might feel about him, we
should still thank him, he was the only one making D parts back in the day.
Now we have more options, myself being one of them. But back when everyone was
ignoring us........he was there. I have to give him some credit for
that.......I think a lot of that attitude had to come from the fact that he was
the only supplier......if you didnt like his way of doing things........tuff,
you still had to put up with it, and pay what ever price he wanted. He had a
pure monopoly.
Now, thank god, we have a choice. When I first bought my D, I couldnt find
anything for it...except for his overpriced parts that I couldnt afford....thats
why I started making my own parts. Now there are Quick Ds all over this
continent, Asia and in Europe. Who would have guessed.....not me. I owe it all
to the DOC, DML, and now the DTOA.
Anyway....I guess all I really want to say is that no matter if we think he is
an A hole.......he is still the grandfather of Dodge Truck performance. And any
D person is a good D person....except for Patrick.......he is a bad bad man.
take care and stay safe......but always be a Quick D!!!
Tony
