Frank Holloway claims the 380 crate won't run in a OBD II computer controlled
vehicle because it takes at least 10" of manifold vacuum at idle for the
computer to work properly.
The 380 crate cam just has too much duration to be computer friendly, not to
mention having to run a stall converter for the auto and a vacuum resevior for
the brakes.
There's a guy in Michigan by the name of Kessler who installed a 380 crate in
his R/T. He had some idle problems and I haven't heard from him in a while.
I think there are better cam chioces out there for the late model Magnum V8.
