okay, I was rushed into finishing the previous report and didn't even get
to say what I really wanted to say!
I made a short list of the trucks that stood out in my mind:
Lowest: Mike D.'s dak
Highest: Toss up: Preacher, Jon Smith, Garret Lewis
fastest: Shane Baker's R/T (14.3)
best burnout: Wayne or Shane... both were impressive!
longest distance travelled: Mike Smith.. Indiana!!
loudest: Jon Smith
Blew the most smoke out the tailpipes: Scott Miller (only because I
didn't race..hehe)
left the most fluid on the ground: Mike D
happiest with ET: Tim Berry
all in all a great time! I know my last e-mail made it kinda' seem like a
drag, but since I wasn't racing it kinda' was a drag =( I spent alot of
time playin watchdog for the 40+ daks whos owners had gone to watch some
racing... it was cool =) I got some great pics of everything, and I tried
to get apic of everyone's truck while it was parked that I plan to match
a name, ET, and e-mail addy to... got some cool low light pics of the
staging lanes, a couple trucks sittin' still... wish I coulda got apic of
the 15 daks lined up at that gas station chasing off the ricers =) and
the huge cloud of tire smoke we all left on our way out =)
my sweater smells like tire smoke!! cool =)
okay, that's all... I'll post to the list when I get the pics scanned and
upped
