If you go any wider than the 31x10.5-15 or 275-60-17 tires, you may have rubbing problems at full turn. You may also have trouble finding tires in the proper size to accomplish your objective because
you'd need to go to a different aspect ratio (e.g. maybe a 55 series) if you want to go wider than 275 without getting taller. Use the tire calculator on the DML web site to figure out what
combination (e.g. maybe 285-55 or 300-50) gives the same circumference as 275-60-17, and then good luck actually finding someone who makes a size like that.

circumference/height of the 31x10.5/15's? maybe 315/60's or 295's?
