Wow! I'm not familiar with Paxton's prices, but I would immagine
they are in-line with Vortech, in which case you can probably figure
$3-4K for all the goodies, then add in the Magnum R/T package which
used to be computer, exhaust, headers, and cam (not sure if its the
same or different now) which is probably pushing $2K, tonneau and roll
pan are probably another $900 or so, then throw in the labor to install
all that stuff, and I assume its all covered by warranty? If so, it
sounds like a downright bargain! :-)
As far as performance goes, I'd just have to guess, but I think Bob
Tom has the Magnum R/T package on his 318 club cab, and he's running
about 2 seconds faster than before (effect would probably be even
greater on the 360 in a lighter vehicle), then figure what, another
1-2 seconds for the blower, depending on boost? If the R/T runs
15.5 stock, I would guess the MTS would be good for somewhere
in the low-mid 12's?? That'd be about 1-1.5 seconds faster than the
stock Lightning. Does Holley Dodge have any HP/torque numbers? If
so, could run 'em though the generic ET calculator and see what that
turns up...
