Thanks Shane but I just had mine replaced so I'm pretty sure it's not that...
The noise is coming right out of the dash or maybe more towards the drivers side
A pillar. It's not doing it today but I'm due for another chirp session in a
couple of days... Really weird.

I had this on one of my Rams and while it was at the dealership for the ole "Get
everything fixed before the warranty runs out" - about 2 seconds after hearing
it -
several mechanics said in unison "I know what that is" and a big smile on their
faces. The service writer said "and we can fix that chirp for another $100" -
I
asked him what was causing it. When he said "drive belt - very common". I said
no thanks. At this point I didn't really believe them but wasn't about to pay
$100 for changing the belt.
On the way home I stopped by Autozone to price a belt - was $19.95 so I got it
and 5 mins later had it on. Guess what? No more chirping from that point on.
Must have been something to do with those many tiny little cracks in the back of
it. Now my wife's truck is doin the same thing and I know what it is. Time to
hit Autozone again.
